How did MFS start?

Initiated in 2007 by a group of local producers who identified a need for an independent, farmer owned, knowledge and information based organisation, to help farm businesses to be more profitable and resilient in the long term.

What levels of membership do you offer?

Membership options include;

1. an annual financial membership with full, unlimited access to all information and MFS activities and benefits, and

2. free “public” access to selected information displayed on our website including invitations to certain local events.

How do I become a member?

Does membership just cover me?

A financial membership covers ALL members of the farm business entity including family members, staff / employees and business partners for a period of 12 months and can then be renewed.

How many events are held each year?

Generally MFS delivers approximately 5-6 field day events as well as project activities per year as well as promotional offers when available.

How do I give my ideas to the MFS Board or provide feedback on issues?

All feedback or ideas for MFS are directed through the Project Coordinator, Nancy Spoljaric who will then present and discuss with the Board.  Or alternatively Board members can be contacted directly.  Contact details are in the “contact” link on the home page.
